Luapula under-development is not due to tribal politics, says Musenge
President Hakainde Hichilema must tread cautiously and avoid annoying the people of Luapula Province through careless statements and accusing them of practicing tribal politics, Mwenye Musenge has said.
Mr Musenge has instead accused President Hichilema of being one of the architects of tribal politics, which he says has seen the country get deeply divided on regional and ethnic lines.
Mr Musenge, the president of Advocates for People’s Prosperity (APP), said Zambians across the country have always been united until President Hichilema and the UPND took over the governance of the country in 2021.
Mr Musenge said it was annoying for President Hichilema to accuse the people of Luapula Province of practising tribal politics when the people of the region heavily contributed to his victory by voting for him.
Hakainde only knows how to divide people and assets. He is no where near the presidency I voted for in 2021.
He is fraud.

HH has balanced all tribes equally in the employment sector. The tribalists are those that have nothing intelligent to say but accuse HH of being a tribalist. I never heard of the Zambezi region until now.
The Chief Tribalist at it again… The only thing he knows is dividing people on Tribal lines. Hakainde’s entry into Zambian politics is a curse for Zambia. This Tribalist should be shown the door in 2026. In Southern Province he was saying people from the south were being beaten for speaking the Tonga Language. He repeated the same message to the Kaonde people of North Western Province.

Musenge is a big liar. The last time Zambians were really united was during KK’s UNIP rule and to a noticeable extent during MMD rule. PF is the worst disaster that ever happened to Zambia as far as tribalism is concerned. All the same tribalism, previous or current, is bad and should it should not be tolerated.
