“Many don’t know that he was behind our 2012 AFCON success having pushed and believed in us players. He was a father who loved football and it’s unfortunate that he is no more because I wish he could have waited a little longer to see the country bounce back to it’s glory days.
I know 2012 AFCON winning players are sad because he was part of our success story and later with former president Micheal Sata… He pushed us to an extent where we established a bond. I remember after the 2010 Angola Africa Cup, he gave us a good gesture and invited us to the State House and paid us our bonuses,” (Times of Zambia)
