MASEBO CONFIRMS SOME VOLUNTEERS WERE CORRUPTLY REPLACED
Minister of Health, Sylvia Masebo has confirmed that some volunteer health workers managing the Cholera epidemic that were offered jobs by President Hakainde Hichilema, were replaced by unknown people.
Ms. Masebo says culprits in the scandal have since been relieved of their duties for going against the presidential directive.
She adds the government will not tolerate corrupt practices at the expense of someone’s life and taxpayer’s money.
Earlier the Federation of Free Trade Union of Zambia expressed displeasure that a number of volunteers that were given jobs have been replaced.
Union Secretary General, Nelson Mwale is dismayed that jobs meant for people who sacrificed their lives for others, have been hijacked by people with dubious intentions.

These people are realy very crooked and agents of the lucifer.
Surely why should they replace the names of the people who made themselves available during this critical time of cholera and provided services to the sick when others were watching from afar and put themselves forward for voluntary and now the President has recognised their services but now, Surely these people and all those who participatrd in these evil deadly corrupt mission should not br spared but to be fired without any coin and further be jailed becauae there like those people who kill others – witches, nindoshi shonse. This is very serious Hon. Minister – no mercy to be shorn to these crooks becsuse such people are demons. Please start sorting them they are frustrating the government efgort. Just inagine even when the President said, ” don’t temple with tge reguster ” but tgey ignire the Presidents directive and went ahead to do their appetitle wrong.
Infact it’s better to publish their names and pictures so that the country may know them. These are deadly crooks hsboured vy the crooked and living on crookedness without fear or fsvour.
That’s true my brother was one of the volunteer but they told him that he should pay a k2000 if he wants to be on list which is so unfair
