SAMPA SUFFERS SETBACK AS COURT JOINS PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES TO THE CASE

The Lusaka High Court has granted applications by Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, Hon. Brian Mundubile and two presidential candidates to join in the case against expelled Matero MP, Miles Sampa.

The trio are arguing that Miles Sampa held an illegal Extra-Ordinary General Conference as it was held without following the Patriotic Front Party Constitution, and its laid down procedures.

Lusaka High Court, Judge Situmbeko Chocho added the
Suspended Matero MP, Miles Sampa called for a retreat on 24th October 2024 and illegally converted it to an alleged Extra-Ordinary General Conference.

PF Presidential Candidates, Lunte MP, Hon Mutotwe Kafwaya and Hon. Greyford Monde, who paid K200,000 fee to participate in the upcoming conference to elect a PF President and have been added to the case to challenge the Miles Sampa sham Extra-Ordinary General Conference.

And PF Vice President Hon. Given Lubinda welcomed the development stating that the presidential candidates will prove that the so-called Extra-Ordinary General Conference was illegal and held by officials not authorized as stipulated by the patty constitution.

The matter was adjourned to 4th December for interparty hearing
