The Scottish First Minister, Humza Yousaf, expressed that his mother-in-law and her husband are facing extreme suffering while being trapped in Gaza.
Yousaf said the house only has six bottles of clean drinking water left for 100 people, including a two-month-old baby.
He moved away to answer her phone call and said the family never knows if they will survive each night because there are missiles, rockets, and drones attacking all night long.
Yousaf’s family members went to visit their relatives in Gaza, but there was fighting happening there. He said he is asking the UK government to help open the Rafah crossing and stop the fighting.
