POLICE URGED TO URGENTLY STOP GANGS SPRINGING UP IN COMPOUNDS

Golden Party Zambia-GPZ- president Jackson Silavwe has appealed to the Zambia Police Service to urgently stop gangs that have sprung up in compounds across the country.

Mr. Silavwe tells Phoenix News that police should form a task force of investigators will quickly arrest the situation.

He says the gangs are a serious threat to national peace and prosperity hence the urgent need for police to quickly move in and act.

A few days ago, a Zambia Police constable of matero police station was killed by a criminal gang while another criminal gang kidnapped, James Kakutangwila of Kuku Compound with a intent of killing him until he was rescued by the police.
