President Hakainde Hichilema has fired Judge Sunday Bwalya Nkonde SC

President Hakainde Hichilema has with immediate effect removed, acting on recommendations contained in the report presented to him by the Judicial Complaints Commission, removed JUDGE Sunday Bwalya Nkonde SC from office.
The removal of the said puisne judge is in exercise of the powers vested in the president in Article 144 (5) (b) of the Constitution of the Republic of Zambia.
On 6th May, 2022 President Hichilema suspended Judge SUNDAY NKONDE as Judge of the High Court of Zambia following a recommendation in the report presented to him by the Judicial Complaints Commission.
President HICHILEMA’s decisions follow the recommendations in the report presented to him by the Judicial Complaints Commission.
