Zambia National Service (ZNS) Commander Lieutenant General Maliti Solochi has insisted on holding shares in eight state registered companies, saying people should not just be armchair critics.

Speaking in an interview with the Daily Revelation on Sunday, Lt Gen Solochi said people should not just be armchair critics because he was not the first commander to hold shares on behalf of ZNS in any firm as his predecessors did the same.

  1. General that is a national asset, not a personal asset between the two of you, consult and you will be told that you have not followed the law

  2. You know today you can openly say in confidence that you general solochi you are above the law. Ethics, morality , integrity with your consciousness, you would not have share in the government run business when you are heading the depart . Conflict of interests will ultimately undermine your decision making process. But it’s your time as we have heard our brothers and sisters from southern state openly , chindu chats’
After change of government, removing some bad seeds of judges and Supreme Court justices, Gen Solochi you will spend the remaining of life appearing in courts of law and spend money on legal fees till your bank accounts are empty. Power corrupts and you will see this to police officers from the south doing even the worst crimes that if there was a change of government in 2026, they will be sued and end up spending their little earned pensions on legal fees

  3. Eya! Just wait until change of government, you will cry Your mother. That us if you are even luck to reach 2026 because majority of Zambians are annoyed with Hichilema’s government. Even abducting MPs! Kaunda ruled for 27 years he never presided over abduction of any MP! Yakaba nomba!

  4. Very idiotic answer by solochi. Now what about when you are fired and you refuse to transfer those shares to the new command. Are you not going to cause a dilemma? Instead of just rambling about what your predecessor also did why can’t you instead correct the situation. If your predecessor was stealing are you also going to steal using that as an excuse?
