UPND MP demands Parly motion for Lungu to explain his wealth

Luena member of Parliament (UPND) Mubita Anakoka has asked why the government has not given former president Edgar Lungu an opportunity to give an account of his wealth.

Speaking during urgent matters without notice in Parliament yesterday, Anakoka said Lungu should be given an opportunity to explain how he aquired his wealth in a short period of time.

“The nation has in the recent past weeks and months been treated to a situation that has caused a lot of trepidation.   3. Privatisation thieves should explain where they got there money.
    One privatisation thief tells us he sold a mud house in Kalingalinga and became a Billionaire!
    Come 2026 he should be arraigned before the courts to explain how he became a Billionaire..Let him show us the mud house which he sold , and at how much.
    Let him show us how he got the Lima Bank assets , even the Kabulonga house where he was staying. Like Milingo, let the Privatisation liquidator be thoroughly investigated , and assets and Ill gotten money be confiscated… including his den( suspected to be a proceed of crime ) he has turned into a house of corruption and deals.
