SABOI RAISES LUNGU’S ELIGIBILITY
National Democratic Congress (NDC) leader Saboi Imboela recently raised questions around the eligibility of former president Edgar Lungu to contest the 2026 general elections during a recent UKA meeting.

Alliances have no place in Zambia. Most opposition political parties exist on paper only or for the sole purpose of assisting the owner earn some income from “donors”.
Take Ms. Nawakwi’s FDD for instance. When did they last hold a convention? Who are the office bearers? Why is it that it is only Ms. Nawakwi who is heard and no other voice?
Most of the so called opposition parties are mere extentions of either UPND or PF. On this score Dr. M’membe’s SP has some credibility but he is also trying very hard to rope in PF and will probably be the major beneficiary if PF disintegrates.
