Caroline Katotobwe; The loudest UPND Praise Singer
I’m so ashamed of myself that I listened to the entire programme on Hot FM featuring a so-called Executive Director for Centre for Policy Dialogue, a Ms Caroline Katotobwe.
It’s sad that she masquerades as a leader of a non-profit and non partisan organisation.
She sang so high praises for President Hichilema and the UPND and showered a down-pour of support and flattery that would probably embarrass the very people she wishes to please.
She dismissed strong assertions and concerns about the governance of the country, large-scale acts of corruption and the general misrule raised by many including the Zambia Conference of Catholic Bishops (ZCCB), Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia(EFZ), the Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ), the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ), Our Civic Duty Association (OCIDA), cooperating partners and others.
She believes PF officals must shut up and soak-up the brutality and humiliation they are going through, the arrests, the torture, the teargassing, the denial for public rallies and other rights and freedoms denied to them.
She believes that the PF was the epitome of evil that reigned in this country and therefore Zambians must be grateful and celebrate the gift of President Hichilema and the UPND to this country.
She sounded like a UPND Praise Singer on steroids..
She said a lot of propaganda stuff that can now only be aired on the former public broadcaster, ZNBC and their rogue online pages.
To be of any relevamce to this country, the Centre for Policy Dialogue Board may need to recruit an independent official than the desperate and nakedly job-seeking person currently holding the position as demonstrated on Hot FM today.
Or we must accept that it’s her freedom of expression, freedom to praise and freedom to desperately flatter President Hichilema…and therefore allow us to regard the Centre for Policy Dialogue as an organisation of nuisance value to the country.

Can Mwamba tell us when the PF allowed rallies when they were in power. It was an offence even to support Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester United openly by wearing Red colours. Why is he crying foul when freedoms are much more about than during his ambassadorial time. By the way, ambassadorial titles are not life long so stop calling him ambassador Mwamba. He is Mr Mwamba former ambassador!
I too believe that PF was and still is the epitome of evil.
The extensive damage inflicted by PF on the national fabric will take a whole generation to repair.
PF is the true representation of hypocrisy, lies and lawlessness.
Bitterness kills you know. Some of these reactions have stopped making sense. There is need to be objective and to stop this obession of discrediting anyone who thinks contrary to the opposition views.
Stand on a conviction which is unmovable and one that does not get shaken every time a good word is spoken on behalf of your oponents.
Your whole exsistence seems to be reacting to comments on how bad this government is doing despite the fact all can see some of the undeniable good that can be seen by everyone. Those in denial of this truth to us appear childish and silly. Just angry people.
Of course we know that the current administration are not saints and hence have some faults. It’s only human. Thats why we afforded you guys the terms in office you got. We gave you a benefit till you beame big headed and made a lot of bad decisions which we are paying for and the current governmemt is repairing.
True you may not agree with the support being given for the current government but you still have to respect her rights to blow the trumpet for her favorite team. Do you want her to insult you and speak ugly of your team. Of course not.
Come one guys lets grow up politically. The real issues to tackle are on the political pitch and the need is providing solutions.
What you are doing is called bulling and foolishly you think attacking her is the best way to discredit her. It only amplifies your intolerance levels and bitterness. It’s a sign your soul( mind and emortions) is sick.
It only openly reveals your lack of respect of other peoples personal opinions and confirms that you can not change your unwanted atitudes of not allowing for freedom speech which is a right for anyone. This is puzzling because you cry the loudest of it lacking while you attack those exercising it.
