DEC ARREST FORMER MINISTER OF MINES RICHARD MUSUKWA

The Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) has arrested former Minister of Mines and Minerals Development, Hon. Richard Musukwa.
Musukwa has been charged with possession of property suspected to be allegedly proceeds of crime.
This was after seven hours of questioning.


A few months ago, the DEC seized his house, flats, and vehicles he bought as an MP through the National Assembly and from government as a Deputy and Cabinet Minister.


Musukwa has since challenged the seizure of his assets in the Lusaka High Court.
Musukwa was released on bond.


Opposition Patriotic Front leaders led by Vice President, Hon. Given Lubinda were on hand to offer solidarity to Musukwa.
Musukwa was represented by Hon. Makebi Zulu and Mr. Jonas Zulu of Makebi Zulu Advocates.

  1. All these idiots are supposed to be in orange work suits marked PRISONER, not the way they are abusing freedom of movement offering solidarity to fellow criminals and making the law enforcers and government look like they are the ones in the wrong. STUPID IDIOTS.
