FORMER MALAWIAN President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika says he has not made up his mind on numerous calls from various quarters that he should run again in the forthcoming 2025 presidential polls.

Mutharika says he was serious on his plans to turn Malawi into Singapore.

He says: “Plans were there, I was very serious about transforming this country. We would have done so by having quality infrastructure such as roads.”

Mutharika says the DPP is ready to get back into government stressing that the party is rebuilding and that it is developing new policies and a new manifesto.

The former president says government must focus on governing the country instead of persecuting people by arresting them and having no evidence, with endlessly investigations.

He has since described such arrests as irresponsible and a contravention to the rule of law.
