SAMPA MUST BE SINCERE WITH HIS UTTERANCES
Miles Sampa should behave like someone who has suffered from amnesia ,the people of Zambia have not forgotten about the brutality and injustices that his party then in government brought upon the people of Zambia. Where was his voice to talk about human rights ?Today, he states at an AU election observer mission that the arrest of a notorious individual for breaking the law is an embarrassment to Zambia.
One cannot create lies for political mileage to accuse a sitting head of state for being involved in gassing and expect the law not to intervene !The institution of the presidency must be protected at all times by citizens of the country
When a woman police officer was assaulted by an individual by the name of Tayali, where was the right honourable voice to condemn that violent act ,did he lose it that day?
Let me remind our right honourable gentleman what we still remember about his party’s lack of respect for freedom
The PF government then under the Public order act totally abused it to oppress citizens and the opposition. Miles Sampa on the opposition day ,he can testify and many that they are in are allowed to gather, freely ,travel and even campaign without any police interference .That was not the case when they were in power.All the opposition can now be seen on ZNBC and their news items aired .
In April 2020,the PF government then revoked the licence of the country’s leading private station called Prime ,this license was reinstated by the New Dawn Government when they won the election by a huge majority .
We all recall the violation of Mr Hichilema’s right and damage of his property in New Kasama where his family was tear gassed .Where was Mile’s Sampa’s voice over the matter?
The PF and its bunch of desperate opposition want to politicize any incident even when they know that an offense has been committed for their political mileage. The constitution is the rule of law which protects every citizen but it doesn’t mean one should deliberately abuse his or her rights to spread falsehood.
I just want to remind them that President Hichilema and the New Dawn Government are here to stay because they have been given the mandate to rule.12th August 2026 meet us in the political battlefield for now offer constructive checks and balances ,you seem lost.
