Edgar Lungu Calls For Early Elections
Former President, Edgar Chagwa Lungu has disclosed that the UPND in Lusaka mobilised UPND thugs to attack the United Church of Zambia (UCZ) St. Philips Congregation in Kanyama if he appeared at the Church.
This is after the ruling party learnt that Zambia’s Sixth President, Dr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu was invited to grace the occassion as Guest of Honour.
The United Church of Zambia, St. Philips Congregation under St. Paul’s
Consistory located in Kanyama Constituency, was hosting a program
called “Official Opening of the Church”.
This event comes once in the life of the Congregation hence, its significance.
A check at the Church found UPND thugs being offloaded from 3 mini-buses and were preparing to waylay the motpr vehicle convoy of the former President.
But Lungu says he received reports about the plot to cause confusion at the Church and chose to attend the Church Service that was being held at the Dunamis Christian Centre.
President Lungu quoted the scriptures; “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” So be wise, act like a serpent but be as innocent as a dove-Mathew 10;16

Lungu has also called for early elections owing to the deep suffering the people are going through.
This sounds like it is a made story. I say so because no evidence to show mini-buses or cadres has been presented.
This is similar to what has landed Mr. Nakachinda in prison.
Very boring stuff. Still no one in the opposition is bold enough to provide a single solution to the serious problems we are facing as a country.
All are Preoccupied daily with talking about things which are not practicle and actually border on removing a legitimately voted government through wishful thinking. What is wrong with our opposition leaders.
What a disppointing and weak performance. Sad we don’t have a strong functioning opposition. All this drama to a reasoning person is a lot of ranting but all worthless because incompetence is wrtten everywhere on the inability to solve any single problem we are facing except taking us backward.
Who placed us all in the mess we are now struggling to come out of. Guys be serious. We want more than fatancies and ambitous thoughts of sitting on the thrown. Not even God will allow that to happen.
