Confusion has engulfed small-scale miners over the ownership of an old rich copper deposit site at Bwana Mkubwa Mine in Ndola.
Furious men and women have accused a Kitwe based businessman named Shawi Fawaz for allegedly fueling the problem.
Recently over one thousand small scale miners were assured by the state that they would be given a share in the operation of the vast copper tailing.
The unhappy group has demanded answers from the government because they will not back down owning part of Bwana Mkubwa Tailings, several police officers were deployed to the disputed site to prevent the mob from a hostile takeover of the site.
