NEVERS MUMBA COUNSELS OPPOSITION POLITICAL PARTIES THREATENING TO IMPEACH PRESIDENT HICHILEMA
By Chileshe Mwango
Former Vice President Dr. Nevers Mumba has challenged opposition political parties that have threatened to impeach President Hakainde Hichilema to prove he occasioned the auditing of the defence and security services by private companies.
Some opposition political parties this week disclosed that they are preparing a motion to impeach President Hichilema for among other reasons, alleged bad governance and the awarding of a contract to a private firm he has interest in to audit the Zambia Army.
In an interview with Phoenix News, Dr. Mumba argues that instead of planning to impeach the head of state, the opposition must be discussing matters of urgency such as the high debt levels left by the patriotic front government which he says continues to affect the country’s economic growth.
Dr. Mumba has since appealed to the opposition to concentrate on ensuring Zambians have better lives by pushing government to effectively implement Programmes such as the Farmer Input Support Program and the Social Cash Transfer.
PHOENIX NEWS
Bwana Mumba do not lose sleep pf mps are just joking. How can they impeach the president when their numbers do not add up. The problem of old cadres, we take jokes seriously.
Mr Mumba is Wise. He is on Point!
The PF MPs are a cult of thieves no sane person should take seriously.
If anything, it’s their archangel ECL who deserves impeachment for the numerous atrocities committed under his rule.
Instead of fighting the mighty UPND through the ballot, where they fully understand they stand no chance of victory, they’ve opted to wage war through parliament, social media, and their morally bankrupt surrogates and headless miscreants.
What a shame!
Squiller Mumba,
Fellow should be kept far away from UPND he is known to steal Parties
Pastor Mumba let’s continue praying that the bunch of thieves that ruled this country does not get a chance to get back. The impeachment will go nowhere but they cherish the attention from social media and newspapers. That’s all they will get, they want to be seen that they are talking freely, which freedom their counterparts when in opposition never had.
