NEW DAWN GOVERNMENT’S LACK OF CLEAR POLICY DIRECTION WORRIES HARRY KALABA

By Prudence Siabana

Citizens First Party Leader Harry Kalaba is concerned that the UPND government’s direction of policies still remains unclear despite the first quarter of 2023 almost coming to an end.

Speaking when he featured on Friday’s edition of Let The People talk on Phoenix FM, Mr Kalaba says due to lack of clear policy direction by the current regime, it has made it difficult for President Hakainde Hichilema to make reshuffles at cabinet level and appoint individuals that will effectively execute their duties.

Mr Kalaba has since questioned government`s political will to implement policies that are aimed at benefiting Zambians.

Meanwhile, Mr Kalaba has observed that the government has created a perception that it is more tilted to the US government as opposed to china and other countries, a situation he has described as not good for the country.

He has since urged the UPND government to balance Friendship with China and America, further reminding the government to understand that different challenges require different kinds of approach hence the Zambia-China relationship cannot be shelved.
