PLAYERS in the solar industry have been cited for selling inferior products at exorbitant prices, taking advantage of the current energy crisis in the country.
A lecturer from ZCAS University, Carter Bbune, raised the concern during the 2025-2027 Medium Term Budget Plan and 2025 National Budget Consultations Meeting on Tuesday.
Mr Bbune was responding to the submission made by Solar Industry Association of Zambia president Mutanda Mwewa, who demanded a number of incentives from Government.
