THE SILENCE OF MINISTERS AND MP’S FROM WESTERN PROVINCE ON BAROTSELAND IS TOO LOUD SPEAK LIKE YOUR COLLEAGUES DID – LUMEZI MP CHALLENGES

PARLAIMENT NEWS

LUMEZI Member of Parliament Hon. Munir Zulu has challenged UPND MINISTERS AND MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT in Parliament to go on camera and give an opinion on the current barotse land issue like their colleagues from Northern and Eastern Provinces did when the Umodzi Kumawa and Kola foundation were formed.

Speaking in Parliament this afternoon during the Matter of Urgent Public importance, Hon. Zulu said “Madam Speaker an increase in groups such as Umodzi kumawa and Ministers from this current government that originate from Eastern Province went on camera to condemn and give their opinion on the group. When the Kola foundation was mentioned Ministers from Bemba Speaking went on camera and gave their opinions on what Kola was all about”

Madam Speaker most recently this country has witnessed the secessionist group of people from barotseland and then speaking as a person that is always on social platforms, non of the Members of Parliament or Ministers of barotse land have given an opinion on this sensitive matter that threatens the state of our security as a country knowing very well that we are a unitary state as espoused by President Hakainde”

“Madam Speaker I am directing this question to her honor the Vice President because the silence is too much. We have seen your members of parliament being harassed being asked to enter a province that is part of Zambia to enter with a passport but a passport from where?”

And her response Madam Speaker did not allow the Vice President to state Governments position or why the current Baratseland speaking Ministers and MPs were quiet.

  1. It is unwise and cheap politicking to compel all Members of Parliament from Western province to comment on issues surrounding the Barotseland (Bulozi). Matters bordering Barotseland are too sensitive and complex to be discussed by MPs from Western province. It is unfair to compare Umodzi Kumawa and Kola foundation to Barotseland issue.

Lumizi Member of Parliament Hon. Munir Zulu is imprudent and his thinking capacity to articulate national matters is below par. It is only in Zambia that people like Munir Zulu can be elected as MP. The issue of Barotseland is being handled by government and only government can speak on the issue and give its decision. We expect Hon. Munir Zulu to speak on behalf of Zambians on issues concerning the escalation of the cost living of essential commodities like
fuel and other essential foodstuffs which are causing miseries among the poor and middle class poor.

  2. Greedy Lozi ministers eating with both hands! They can’t even say whether they are with Zambia or with Barotseland!
Let us chase them from Lusaka where they have invested so much and are keeping their loot.
These Lozis are hypocrites, dont even listen to them. Idyots.

  3. The 30 pieces of silver they get from government is enough to shut their mouth and side with the same government rather than their tribesmen. These are the pipo you voted for.
