  1. Mweetwa don’t was peoples time having a briefing and saying nothing. ZNBC is public institution. The policy of a National Broadcasting Institution is that the Official Language i.e English should be used if a programme is not for Local languages. If a caller uses bemba, Lozi, njanja or Tonga the presenter should cut the line and refer the caller to their class i.e local language section. If a presenter wants to tolerate certain vernicular languages under the pretext that they can hear them at the expense of others that is a source of confusion and baiseness . Everyone knows that ZNBC is fully packed with employees from one region there is no diversity there. Simple analysis of the News presenters from Sunday to Sunday will reveal that other tribes were not being employed at ZNBC from 1991.
Infact what is needed in Zambia is a law prescribing that all public institution will have equal representation of all the tribes in Zambia. English must be medium of communication for all unless its on vernicular programs.
