  1. You are the one pushing a political narrative. HH donates a portion of his salary. That’s different from saying he gets paid. Yes he gets paid but he donates his salary du-mmy.

  2. HH gets paid . Period. How he chooses to spend the salary is his own business. That’s what Salaries are for. Some people get salaries and give 10% to the Randy Matero Bishop General for his sex escapades or to some equally useless papas dotted all over the country. Others give part to Orphanages. Still others give to sports teams, players, sponsor some vulnerable children in School…Those are the needs and wants Salaries are meant to be used for. HH is currently in Dubai. He flew there not from his pocket. The food he ate and is eating there is from the tax I pay. So this bla bla myth that he doesn’t get paid is all hogwash.

  3. Is this a national issue really? What the president does with his salary is nobody s business. Bring something debatable to parliament not this prattle based on attacking someone just because he or she is of another party or head of state. What feather heads we have in parliament.

  4. The price we pay for our ignorance and lack of education in Africa is depressing. Africa prioritizes politics over all other facets of society.

Today somebody wants to justify having dismally failed with buccal economic diarrhoea and the nation accepts. They even worship him that he doesn’t get paid or donates his salary. Indeed this is hogwash because that is a paltry fraction of the net cash outlay in keeping him flying abroad, eating and lodging there…on futile trips ROI of which is unaudited.

His prediccessor was so weak useless thugs took over the country and even the defense institutions were under siege. Everything was subsidized on borrowed finance creating a time bomb without care or is it ignorantly? And the remnants of his ill-fated and hell bound regime are baying to return to power and finish us off from where they left.
Where are we on all this? We need to change as Zambians. I don’t know if it’s mass lack of civic education or we just don’t care. Would instead wait for the ballot meantime let them do as they wish. We need to make them work before we cast the next ballot.
Even these papas have seen the social malaise and are now entering bedrooms of the very men who give them 10% of their earnings. The PF gunyu masakas wouldn’t be yapping and baying like monkeys if we were like South Africans. They would have been crushing lice at Mwembeshi, Chimbokaila and Mukobeko. A 39 year old child with 60 vehicles and he is allowed to walk the streets freely? A former president who illegally allowed his ministers to remain in office after Parliament dissolution, eating tax payers’ money and you just casually tell them to pay back a small percentage of it, him who authorized this crime hiding under immunity and we don’t push for justice? What a nice country. No wonder Lebanese, Indian, Congolese ( like the Matero papa), West Africans etc always say “if you are poor in Zambia then there’s something very wrong with your head”. It’s true. Sad

  5. See what happens when people just yap anyhow about things of little national importance. A while ago, the same PF were aggrieved and told us that HH was committing an illegality by not getting his salary. Today they are telling us that contrary to their earlier comments and assertions by some people within UPND, HH does actually get his salary. In all this, HH himself has not made any public comment on this very personal issue. We really don’t care whether he gets his salary or doesn’t. Nor do we care whether he stays in State House or not. These things are not material!!! PF, continue majoring on trivialities and exposing your small mindedness and see where it will get you. Just don’t come crying at the next elections when the Zambian people reject you based on your lack of seriousness.
