The truth is that some people are hurting because the president, HH, is not from a certain region. We saw similar senseless reactions when the late Mwanawasa was president.
Of course the Archbishop does not like HH now and not long ago, he was heard saying that HH wants to kill me. If it is true that he said these words we are hearing again that this man should not be allowed more than one term, then let him acknowledge it himself. Mwamba is a very good propagandist and he can doctor a video to suit his evil thoughts. What the Archbishop is saying and what is on the ground are totally different. We the voters decide which president we want, the Archbishop and Mwamba cannot choose and do not choose for us. The people of Zambia are now living in peace, they are slowly forgetting about the brutality which was there under PF. People are now appreciating HH and his ND government for the unprecedented development that they have seen in just two years. For the first time in the history of this country, the government is setting a target for CDF utilization because some constituencies are failing to spend the money. It has never happened before, in the previous administration, CDF was impactless because even the little 1.6 m never used to reach the beneficiaries. So which normal or well meaning Zambian can allow the brutal clique of thieves to come back and start brutalizing us and stealing our money. Kuli Lesa takwaba ukubwekesha, once rejected, it’s over. If Mr. Mwamba thinks he will be an Ambassador again, he should forget and start thinking of other things. He is abusing the Archbishop who should be having a peaceful retirement, why can’t we emulate Archbishop Medado Mazombwe? Te ifi twaikele nano awe. The Church should concentrate on the Pastoral work of feeding the flock and not politics, Jesus is coming soon. I am disappointed that the Archbishop had to take a cold shower to cool the anger, how do you get so angry as if it’s a personal matter? As a man of God and as Christian nation, we should know that God and not man fights and liberates his people at his own appropriate time. So there is no justifiable reason to deny HH a second term because he has not brutalized or killed anyone since he came into office.
