ACC Targets GBM:

The ACC have with all intent and purposes gone for Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba commonly known as (GBM) over money laundering involving US$4.6m.

The police, other investigative wings or law enforcement agencies in the capital city of Zambia, lusaka, are apparently pursuing Patriotic Front member Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba for several unethical cases, apparently the prominent one being money laundering and being in possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime or corruption.

GBM ran away when Hakainde Hichilema was in prison for 127 days and only resurfaced when his then part President for UPND was released. GBM resigned from his position as UPND vice-president in April 2019 to rejoin the Patriotic Front Party which lost lost elections in 2021.

In the meantime GBM is believed to be in South Africa where he has been nursing his wounds for lose of elections, but he has since been summoned for investigations and interrogations on other cases.
