African opposition politicians have been visiting Ukraine in a show of support for the country which is facing aggression from Russia.
Among them are Tanzania’s Zitto Kabwe and Uganda’s Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine. After his visit to Ukraine, Bobi Wine said on Twitter that is was time for democrats to stand together against dictatorship.
Many African countries have remained neutral on the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
