BRUCE MWAPE NAMES FINAL SQUAD FOR BACK TO BACK OLYMPIC QUALIFIER AGAINST GHANA
Zambia Women’s National Team coach Bruce Mwape has finalized his 23-member squad for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Women’s Football Tournament third-round qualifier against Ghana. The match is scheduled to take place on Friday.
Mwape has chosen to retain more than half of the squad from the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifying campaign.
Additionally, he has included six Copper Queens players who have not been part of the team for some time. Among these players are former captain Kabange Mupopo, goalkeeper Loveness Tonge, defenders Natasha Kapombo, Martha Banda, Tabo Miselo, and midfielder Marjory Mulenga.
The match against Ghana will be held at the Accra Sports Stadium at 19:00, with the return leg scheduled to take place five days later at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
