CROCODILE SEEN EATING LEG OF HUMAN ON BANKS OF LAKE KARIBA
A crocodile was yesterday found eating a human leg on the bank of Lake Kariba in Siavonga.
Munyama ward councilor Special Mulaziki has told Siavonga NewsDay that the crocodile was spotted at Kabuyu Island in his ward eating a leg of a person believed to have gone missing on the lake.
“Today on 04th March, 2023 a crocodile was found eating a human leg (unidentified) at Kabuyu Island of Munyama ward. Therefore, iam requesting the general public to help me and the police to identify the family with a missing member (male or female), especially those fishing kapenta along Siavonga zone 4, artisanal fishermen and traders buying fish or kapenta in Siavonga.
Let’s disseminate this information to the masses and together we shall identify the missing person in one of our families.
