The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia has cautioned politicians against using the funeral of late first Republican President Dr. Kenneth Kaunda to gain political mileage.
A debate has ensued in the nation after UPND Leader Hakainde Hichilema claimed he was not invited for the state funeral held on Friday in honor of Dr. Kaunda, a claim government has denied.
Bishop Andrew Mwenda, the EFZ Executive Director says the politicization of the funeral of Dr. Kaunda is denting the country’s image to the outside world.
