DID YOU KNOW THAT ADAMSON MUSHALA HAD THREE TYPES OF WITCHCRAFT ?
Mwansa Chama
Accomplished historian/researcher
1. INFUFYA – This type of witchcraft caused amnesia in the Northern Rhodesia Police each time they encountered Mushala, and they only realized they had met him after he had already vanished.
2. MUTOMBE TEMBWE – Another type of witchcraft that instilled fear in the community, making them believe Mushala was omnipotent and responsible for all the murders.
3. KAKUFYA – This type of witchcraft allowed Mushala to disappear and reappear in another district in no time. Additionally, it gave him the audacity to believe his body was sacrosanct and impervious to any type of bullet.
Note: This is the kind of history they will never teach you.
This is important to
Me. We need to have knowhow , what understanding and wisdom. Above all, we want to understand the motive. What made this man do what he did- what was the rationale… Was it in good faith or bad faith? How can we apply justice to this case. Who was wrong and who was right…

Mwansa Chama, your writing makes good reading. Unfortunately, the three types of witchcraft whose names are in a language and culture with which Adamson Mushala had no association makes the article incredible and unreliable. Mushala was Kaonde which ethnicity is surrounded by the Lamba, Lunda, Luvale, Luchazi, Chokwe, Mbundu, Mbunda, Nkoya and Lozi people. Until you find the equivalent terms of INFUFYA, MUTOMBE TEMBWE, and KAKUFYA in any of the Languages which Mushala was associated with we would conclude that your assertion is merely of your own imagination and making.
