Former President Donald Trump intends to present himself for arraignment in the hush money case on Tuesday and might be allowed to go free.

Tuesday is when the accusations against Trump are scheduled to be made public, and it seems likely that he will be arraigned then.

Trump’s attorney stated that his client will not accept a plea bargain and is instead ready to go to trial.

The ex-president’s lawyer Joe Tacopina on Friday said that ‘Trump is not going to hole up in Mar-a-Lago’. He did not rule out a perp walk or mugshot.

‘As far as mugshots, (perk) walk – I’m sure they’ll try to get every ounce of publicity he can from this thing,’ Tacopina told ABC News’ Good Morning America.

He added that ‘the president will not be put in handcuffs’.

A Manhattan grand jury on Thursday voted to indict Trump for his role in a $130,000 payment his former lawyer Michael Cohen made to silence porn star Stormy Daniels on her alleged affair with Trump.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office on Thursday night stated that they had contacted Trump’s lawyer ‘to coordinate his surrender’.

Trump on Friday morning slammed the judge assigned to his case, Justice Juan Merchan.

‘The Judge “assigned” to my Witch Hunt Case, a “Case” that has NEVER BEEN CHARGED BEFORE, HATES Me,’ wrote Trump on his Truth Social platform.

Trump claimed without evidence that Merchan was ‘hand picked by Bragg & the Prosecutors’. Merchan also presided over the trial of longtime Trump Organization chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg, and Trump claimed that Merchan ‘railroaded’ him into taking a plea.
