ECL SHOULD LOOK FOR JUSTICE AND NOT SYMPATHY
When I heard of ECL use of the word “hypocrisy”, I thought of the time HH spent 127days in prison on a tramped-up treason charge, stopped HH from flying around to campaign.
Later , I was drawn to a time when Edgar Lungu sent police to teargas HH’s family and smashed glass doors, arrested HH more than 14 times, colluded with Edith Nawakwi to cook a land case.
I finally, considered the time ECL allowed police to use live ammunition on Nsama Nsama, Joseph Kaunda, Mapenzi Chibulo , among others…, arrested thousands of UPND sympathisers, PF cadres setting some houses of perceived UPND members ablaze, closed Prime TV, gassing , retired some ethnic groups in national interest , and I concluded , HH has a big heart….
ECL is confusing his lawless corrupt govt, arrests of allegedly corrupt ministers and his minions with National Unity. National unity does not mean sparing corrupt PF ministers or members, and is not the same as sparing criminals. I understand ECL’s point of departure and concern; herein lies his disruption of the term “unity.”
Otherwise ,considering ECL’s style of leadership makes one conclude that ECL belongs to ICC and Jail! Let him look for justice and not Sympathy!
