FIVE UPND CADRES ATTACKED NDC LEADER SABOI IMBOELA
NATIONAL Democratic CONGRESS (NDC) leader Saboi Imboela – SI was attacked and insulted yesterday 13th February, 2024 at around 13hrs by UPND CADRES together with NDC Media Director Mambwe Zimba and Lusaka Provincial Chairman Simon Mulenga after meeting the press at Backpackers restaurant in Lusaka.
The NDC media director was beaten by the UPND CADRES and sustained injuries.
Further, the carders claimed that the NDC leader was not permitted to give any interview or engage in any activity at the UPND Secretariat. This was despite the team not being at the UPND Secretariat.
Ms.Imboela reported the said CADRES to Lusaka Central Police yesterday at around 14hrs while Mr. Mambwe has since been issued with a medical report after undergoing medical examinations.
The UPND CADRES were infuriated with Ms Imboela that she was talking to the media and they claimed that they were suffering as UPND CADRES despite having worked very hard for the ruling party.
Shockingly, the UPND cadres continued to allege that they suffered for the party and that they were not happy with the state of things in Zambia, hence attacking her and her team in the presence of a News Diggers reporter. Reporters from KBN TV and Crown TV had just left the place.

More Self inflicted wounds. This is very worryimg. This is a lady,what kind of senseless thugs can go to this extent of harming a defenceless woman.
This type of uncontrolled behaviour will not be tolerated any more. It does not matter who does it. We therefore call for the arrest of those involved to answer to this violent crime.
Sanity must prevail in our country. This is very disappointing.
@Mate, dont pretend you don’t backpackers is not a restaurant but is a lodging facility that offers “short time” accommodation. You know what short time is and you should be asking this foolish woman why she was there with her media director. Ati media director sustained injuries but no report of a medical report from the police???
Last time she said she was going to make some porn at community house but alas she was reminded about what her nakedness eould look like in the news!!!!
