FIVE YEARS IMPRISONMENT FOR POSTING VIDEOS, GOING LIVE ON SOCIAL MEDIA (TICK-TOCK, FACEBOOK,X, ETC) ?

The current IBA amendment Bill indicates that Zambian citizens could require a government broadcasting licence to post videos or Livestream on their own social media platforms or face a minimum of 5 years imprisonment or a fine 😑

  1. The elusive euphoria that comes when the novices test power and go into a political/state immunity where all laws and legal pricedures are under an induces temporary amnesia and can never touch them, but forget that they are on a marygoround national play park, and soon it will be their turn to test the strength of their own prescriptions.
    Head in the sand.

    • Actually it’s PF that is testing their own prescription, check nicely you will realise that this was manufactured in PF days.

  2. UPND should never make the mistake of taking Zambian voters for granted. They don’t make noise but their action is always decisive. UPND must ask MMD and PF.As the weakest Zambian ruling party the UPND’s chances of surviving 2026 are slim. This assertion is based on the disquiet in a good number of places in UPND strongholds.
