It lies in the development of the arts, a hugely important industry that those in power today have reduced to a footnote in a ministry!
It lies in increased state support to agriculture and enhanced food security, but those in power today are quicker to listen to the IMF and remove subsidies on farming inputs even when the US and other Western countries till subsidise their own agriculture industry.
It lies in increased state investment to social sectors such as education and health.

The last time Mr. Mmembe was given an opportunity to lead people, he was running the post newspaper and what did he do with that power? He abused it so much that he destroyed a lot of people’s lives with lies using his now defunct newspaper without any remorse at all. He even went further as to stop paying statutory contributions like NAPSA and others just because he believed he had influence on the late former president MCS. As if that was not enough, he became so arrogant that he could walk out of court while it is sitting hearing his case without fearing any judge just because of the same influence he believed he had and believed that he was untouchable.
Choosing Mr. Mmembe to lead Zambia would be the worst thing we can ever do and I doubt we would recover any time soon after. Just look at his arrogance in his writings even now when he talks about president HH, not even a grain of respect for the president even just as a person, now imagine if he were to have presidential powers, he would be calling citizens as dogs. Former president’s ECL’s would be like a child’s play compared to Mr. Mmembe if he were to become president of this country.

Remember the Song ” Bufi” ? For HH , everyone has risen to talk about HH lies. Under PF , a song was done to just illustrate how much they had lied to come to power. Yes indeed they had also promised to reduce the price of mealie meal and did exactly the opposite. Yes they had promised to reduce the price of fuel and did exactly the opposite ( I remember Sata riding on a bus). Yes they had promised to reduce the cost of living but did exactly the opposite.
