There might be ghost health facilities – Health Minister

By Daily Star Reporter

Health Minister Sylvia Masebo has disclosed that just as there are ghost workers, there seem to be ghost health facilities in the health sector.

In her Ministerial statement in Parliament today, the Masebo said the number of health facilities based on what health officials briefed her do not tally with the information at the Ministry.

She said the numbers the Ministry has is lower than that of the said officials.

And the Minister disclosed that the New Dawn Administration will employ 11,276 health workers as opposed to the initial 11,200 workers.

She however warned applicants against making two applications in two different areas.

Masebo said such applicants risk being disqualified.

She however called on citizens to rally behind the New Dawn Administration as it seeks to transform the country.

The Minister said the UPND government and President Hakainde Hichilema mean well for the country.
