HARRIS’ VISIT TO ZAMBIA EVIDENCE OF STRONG US – ZAMBIA RELATIONS – MWEEMBA

A member of the United Party for National Development – UPND in Chikankata District says the scheduled visit of the United States of America’s Vice President Kamala Harris to Zambia shows that America values the growing democracy in the country.
The American Vice President will visit Zambia late in March as part of an African tour that will take her to Ghana and Tanzania scheduled for 25th March, 2023 to 3rd April, 2023.
UPND Member, Watson Mweemba says Zambia is blessed that America has recognized it as one of the peaceful countries in Africa and the world over, as evidenced by the scheduled visit.
He describes the event as historical, adding that Zambia has a lot to learn from the USA as it is an older democracy.
He said this recently in an interview with the Zambia News and Information Services in Chikankata District of Southern Province.
