The ruling Patriotic Front (PF) National Vice Chairlerson for Mobilisation Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba has charged that UPND leader and MDC leader Felix Mutati cannot create a formidable alliance.
Hon Mwamba says the alliance will not go anywhere because the two leader do not believe in each other.
In an interview, he says the two failed to work together in 2015 and nothing will change this time around.
Hon Mwamba says the UPND leader only want to use Mr Mutati in order to get Bemba vote.
But Hon Mwamba says Mr Hichilema should forget about Northern, Muchinga and Luapula because he will make sure that majority voters vote for His Excellency President Dr Edgar Changwa Lungu.
“He used some of us from Northern, I was the seventh person to be used. There is nothing tangible will come out,” he says.
“His plan is to unseat President Edgar Lungu by using some Bemba chaps like my brother Felix Mutati.
But it’s not something which we are worried about because it will not going anywhere and the other thing is that it’s too late because just few hours Parliament will be dissolved and we shall be going on the ground campaigning,”.
Hon Mwamba says the ruling party is already set for the 2021 elections than the recently formed alliance.
“And I know Hakainde Hichilema, he likes meetings. So even today they might had endless meetings. The time they will be doing that us we shall be on he ground,” he says.
