The ruling Patriotic Front Kasama Central Constituency Parliamentary candidate Sibongile Mwamba has dispelled assertions that she has been evacuated to South Africa for treatment due to a stroke.
Ms Mwamba says the claims are false and baseless.
She says those spreading falsehoods are afraid of her popularity.
Ms Mwamba says people should stop spreading falsehoods but meet her in the battle field.
The PF Parliamentary candidate says she is strong and health, she is still in the race.
“I am the only female candidate in Northern Province and Kasama Central in particular.
My popularity has shaken many people that is why they are now spreading falsehoods about me.
“My advice is that stop this ill information lets meet in the battle field,” she says.
She was reacting to media reports that she has been evacuated to South Africa for treatment after suffering from stroke.
