KASOMPE WOMAN ALLEGEDLY RAPED BY HER BROTHER

A 40 year old Woman of Chingola’s Kasompe area has allegedly been raped by her 26 year old brother.
The incident occured on Friday March 10th, 2023 in Kasompe.
Mwima Ngambi is believed to have taken advantage of his sister’s drunken state and raped her.
Copperbelt Province Police Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba who confirmed the incident to RISE FM NEWS said the victim was home alone drinking Chibuku and when she got drunk, she went straight to bed, while sleeping her brother who returned from where he had gone, entered his sister’s bedroom and raped her.
Mr Mweemba said the victim shouted for help but the suspect covered her mouth and no one came to her rescue.
He said the victim later narrated what had happened to other family members and was advised to report the matter to Police.
A medical report form was issued and a docket has been opened.
