Kenyan police crack down on protesters
Kenyan police have been using water canon and tear gas to disperse protesters in the capital Nairobi.
The nationwide protests have been planned by opposition leader Raila Odinga over his claim – without evidence – that the last election was stolen. He also accuses the government of failing to address the high cost of living.
In Kibera slums, where Mr Odinga draws fanatical support, the police clashed with protesters.
