Luwingu step father defiles, infects daughter aged 5 with STI
A FIVE-year old girl of Luwingu District in Northern Province is battling a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) she contracted from being repeatedly defiled by her step father aged 36 and his 17 year old son.
Medical examinations showed that the duo had taken turns to sexually assault the minor on different occasions.
According to reports, the step father last defiled the girl in January this year after which his son took over.
It took a nurse at the local health facility to notice that the child had been a victim of sexual abuse after which the mother reported the matter to police.
According to Northern Province commanding officer Gloria Mulele, besides the STI, the young girl also sustained bruised and swollen vagina lips, white vaginal discharge and body pains.
Mulele said the evil father and son tag team had since been arrested and two separate dockets opened against them as the victim positively identified them as her abusers.
