MALANJI BACK IN PARLIAMENT AS SPEAKER APOLOGIZES
Speaker of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti has announced that Kwacha PF member of parliament Joe Malanji did not participate in the protest of November 30, 2021, in the House.
She said in the House today that the suspension of the former Foreign Affairs Minister is deeply regretted and rendered an apology.
Speaker Mutti has since directed the office of the clerk of the National Assembly to have her earlier ruling on the matte amended.
Without today’s announcement, Malanji would have gone back to the House on April 21, 2022.
Out of its 60 MPs, the PF now has 26 MPs in the House
