Minister of Health, Sylvia Masebo, has disclosed names of Ghost Facilities in a scam that keeps getting deeper.
Speaking shortly after a briefing, Ms. Masebo tells Diamond News that following the verification of nine out of 10 provinces, Nangoma Mission Hospital, Macha Hospital, Monze Hospital, and Kalabo Rural Health Center are some of the nonexistent facilities detected.
She has disclosed that her ministry has since written to the Cabinet to seek authority to engage an external auditor to audit health facilities including the ongoing recruitment of 11, 276 workers.
From the comment made by the Minister, it appears law enforcement wings will only move in once the extensive assessment is done.
