Transport and Communications Minister, Mutotwe Kafwaya has bid farewell to workers in his ministry ahead of the dissolution of Parliament any time soon.
In his address to the ministry workers and agencies under the Ministry of Transport and Communication, Mr Kafwaya outlined the success scored during the time of the Patriotic Front.
Mr. Kafwaya says the transport sector is key to the improvement of the country’s economy.
He adds that government has done well in the road sector as seen by the improvement of Zambia’s road safety profile due to robust road network.
Mr Kafwaya says Government is considering extending the number of hours allowed to travel at night for Public Service Vehicles.
