Former PF Kabwe Central Member of Parliament Tutwa Ngulube has urged the nine PF Members of Parliament to sue Speaker of National Assembly Nelly Mutti for compensation for illegally ejecting them from Parliament.
Mr. Ngulube says the Constitutional Court’s ruling yesterday nullifying the speakers decision to ban the nine MPs from attending Parliamentary business has exposed the partisan stance that was taken by the speaker.
He told Hot FM News that the Speaker’s decision to suspend the MPs was a huge punishment not only to the Member of Parliament but the Constituencies they represent as well.
The Constitutional Court ruled yesterday that the nine PF Members of Parliament whose seats where nullified by the High Court but appealed should remain Parliament.
