PAC PRESIDENT ANDYFORD MAYELE BANDA APPOINTS FORMER CABINET MINISTER WILLIAM HARRINGTON AS VICE PRESIDENT

Opposition People’s Alliance for Change PAC President Andyford Mayele Banda has appointed a former cabinet minister in the second republic as Vice President of the party.
And Mr Andyford Mayele Banda has won the presidency of the People’s Alliance for Change PAC after going unnopposed at a convention held in Lusaka today.
Upon his re-election, Mr Banda announced the appointment of former transport and communication minister William Harrington who also served in the same portfolio at the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental.
The former transport minister was also vocal lately demanding that Zambia scraps off the idea of re-lauching the national airline as it going ahead would be a sheer waste of resources considering current business constraints in aviation.
According to Mr Banda, the newly appointed PAC Vice President who has no trace of curruption will be unveiled to the public tomorrow at the launch of the party’s 2021 – 2026 manifesto.
Meanwhile, Mr Banda has re-appointed Mr Gerald Pule Mulao as Secretary General of the party in order to maintain a coordinated approach in the run-up to the August 12 general elections.
