PF GOT ZRA CARS: COURT HEARS HOW AUTHORITIES RESERVED CARS FOR EX-RULING PARTY ACTIVITIES
A witness has testified in court that beginning 2017 until 2021, used vehicles which were supposed to be internally auctioned to Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) staff were instead reserved for the Patriotic Front (PF).
Sitali Mulozi, a former administration manager at ZRA, testified that the cars were awarded to the then ruling party for use during party mobilisation and campaign activities.
The cars were initially part of an approved list of those on an internal tender for ZRA workers.
Mr Mulozi testified that enlisted used cars in better condition were removed from an internal tender and later awarded to the PF using ZRA employees’ details.
