PF OFFICIALS URGED TO AUDIT MEMBERSHIP IN THE STRUCTURES

Kasama, Thursday 31st March, 2022

“We need to audit our membership as PF. We need to reconcile our party registers to ensure all members in the structures are physically there,” PF National Youth Chairman Hon. Christopher Kang’ombe said this when he paid a courtesy call on Kasama Mayor Theresa Kolala at her office in Kasama.

And we can only do this by visiting our members physically. Politics is about numbers.

My visitation of youths in various constituencies, districts and provinces has been cleared by our Acting President Hon Given Lubinda, our Acting Secretary General Hon Nickson Chilangwa and our Parliamentary Leader of the Opposition Hon Brian Mundubile.

As the new PF National Youth Chairman I have embarked on visiting youths so that I can familiarize myself with them, sensitize them on rebranding and get feedback from them.

Let’s reorganize ourselves. Let’s encourage each other to soldier on from defeat.

Let’s be proud of our record and let’s learn from our mistakes.

And Kasama Mayor Theresa Kolala warmly thanked him for visiting her and congratulated him for being appointed as PF National Youth Chairman.

She said she cherished his visit very much because he was a former Councillor, Mayor and President of Local Government Association of Zambia.

She said as former President of the Local Government Association he should be lobbying for the increment of allowances for poorly paid councillors for he understood their plight very well.

She said councillors desperately needed a pay rise because they help out in their wards.

Hon Christopher Kang’ombe visited the Kasama Mayor after taking a break from his campaigns in Lukutu Ward by-election of Luwingu district.
