Zambia’s second President Frederick Chiluba held regular inter-party meetings with the Opposition including social events as seen in this Madalas Football between a team of the President and Cabinet Ministers, sometimes with Diplomats or members of the Opposition.
This helped reduce tension and promoted a healthy relationship between Government and the Opposition.
