PREGNANT WOMAN CLOBBERS HUSBAND OVER RENTALS
A 41-year-old expectant Lusaka housewife has been dragged to court for allegedly beating her husband during an altercation after he refused to give her money for rent.
Tendai Banda has been charged with the offence of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Allegations are that on February 2 this year, Tendai assaulted Wiseman Zimba.
Allegations are that on the material day, the accused approached her spouse and asked him for money so that she could pay rent to the landlord.
Mr Zimba told his wife that he did not have money, a response she did not receive well.
The woman then forcibly got K200 from the man’s pocket as a scuffle ensued between them.
The accused, who was allegedly holding a screw driver and a knife, asked the husband to use the two weapons to cut her stomach and remove the baby in the womb.
